Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this tragedy has on the children? I can't imagine the pain they're going through right now. Losing one parent is devastating enough, but to lose both in such a traumatic way is unimaginable. From the reports, it sounds like their son David was actually on the phone with his mom during part of the ordeal. Just the thought makes me shudder. These boys are going to need a tremendous amount of support and love to heal and move forward. I hope there's a strong community around them in Dayton and family members who can guide them through this nightmare. It's difficult to process the ripple effect that a crime like this has on the families involved. My thoughts are with them, and I hope they get the counseling and support they deserve. Is there any fund or support group set up for them yet?
