I've been following the DeLand case closely, and there's something that's been weighing on my mind. Samson and Dustin went through so much just in those last few moments, and I can't stop thinking about their families. Losing someone is never easy, and having it happen in such a terrible way must be agonizing. The part that gets me is how these young men, who were so close to their families and each other, ended up in such a horrifying situation. I know it's been mentioned that Keyan claimed he acted in self-defense, but it just doesn't sit right with me. I mean, these were kids who should have had their whole lives ahead of them. Samson was in town for such a heartfelt task—spreading his dog's ashes—and then this happened. I keep coming back to that, thinking of all the love and memories that were a part of that moment. His parents and siblings must be reeling, trying to make sense of this nightmare. Does anyone else feel like there's so much more to uncover? I hope the families get the answers they deserve. It's clear the community is behind them, but it's a long road to justice. If you've got any more insights or thoughts, I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks is happening with the case.
