I’ve been thinking a lot about the lack of any reported gunfire when Corey was shot. It makes you wonder, was this a targeted attack with a silencer involved, or were people just too afraid to come forward? It’s really tough to think about how a vibrant young life like Corey’s could be ended so violently and quietly. The fact that ShotSpotter had been removed is another layer of tragedy, like could his life have been saved if the system was still in place? It’s just so frustrating that we don’t have answers yet, and I can only imagine how agonizing this wait must be for his family and friends. My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I sincerely hope someone steps up with information soon. Corey deserves justice.
