I've been following a lot of true crime stories, but the case of Dawn Marie Wine and her mother, Karen, really hits different. One detail that sticks with me is how Paul John Knowles sat down for dinner with them, chatting as if he were just another friend dropping by. It's chilling to think about the facade of normalcy during such a terrifying situation. I keep imagining the confusion and fear that must have been running through their minds while trying to maintain some semblance of calm. It's just incredibly sad that someone could pretend to be so at ease in that moment and still have such dark intentions. My heart goes out to their family and friends who never got the chance to see justice fully served in the courtroom. Such a tragic loss for everyone who knew them.
