Has anyone else noticed the unsettling timing of Loretta Young Brown's murder in relation to Eddie Lee Mosley's activities in Fort Lauderdale during the mid-80s? It seems like yet another case where system failures allowed an alleged serial predator to continue harming women. I can't stop thinking about how the jury acquitted Mosley just a month before Loretta's death despite his troubling history. It's painful to consider how the legal process fell short and failed to protect the community. Loretta and the other victims deserved so much more, and it's haunting to think how many lives could have been spared with the right measures in place. My thoughts are with Loretta's family and friends, who were deprived of justice and answers for so many years.
