Has anyone else been following the ballistics angle in the Juan Miguel Vasquez Serrano case? It's just so incredibly sad to think about his family having to relive the nightmare over and over again, every time they hear about another shooting connected to the same weapon. Ballistics really became the key piece of evidence that cracked open this series of crimes in Northern California. It’s eerie to think how one gun tied all these tragic events together and brought the police to realizing they were dealing with a serial killer. I can't even imagine the rollercoaster of emotions his family must have gone through when they found out his murder was just the beginning of a much larger investigation. They probably thought it was just random, only to learn later all about the bigger picture. I sincerely hope they're finding some comfort in the progress being made in court. It's been a long road and it must be tough dealing with the seemingly endless delays in justice. Praying for all the affected families to finally get some peace.
