I’ve been thinking a lot about the aftermath of this terrible tragedy, particularly how it impacts the families involved. It’s truly unimaginable the pain Jeremy’s loved ones must be going through. To not only lose someone in such a violent and unexpected way but to realize it's part of a larger, senseless act of violence has to be an indescribable burden. I find myself wondering how communities begin to process events like this. It seems like the fact that the shootings were random adds an extra layer of fear and uncertainty. I hope there are support systems in place for everyone impacted — not just those who knew Jeremy, but all the families whose lives were disrupted by this spree. It’s clear that beyond the tragic loss, there's a community trying to find its footing again. Has anyone heard if there are local groups offering support or if there are plans for community vigils to honor the victims? I feel like collective acts of remembrance can be powerful in helping people heal together. My thoughts go out to Jeremy’s family and all affected. May they find strength and support in this difficult time.
