I've been following the Richard Brady and Veronica Lopez case, and one detail that's been haunting me is how their families learned of the tragedy. I can't even begin to imagine the shock and pain the Lopez family felt when they realized what happened through a live news broadcast. Seeing their daughter's car and dog, only to put the pieces together on their own, is something no family should ever have to endure. It's so surreal how technology connects us to real-time events, but for them, it turned into the worst possible reality. My heart truly goes out to both families. I hope they're finding some support in their communities and are given the privacy to grieve and process all that's happened.
