I've been following the case of David Alai Rodriguez Cabrera for a while, and something about the situation with Julio Castro just doesn’t sit right with me. I can’t imagine the grief his family must feel. What really struck me was the conflicting stories from Castro. One moment he’s claiming self-defense, and the next, he’s suggesting it was an accident while showing off the gun. Those inconsistent accounts combined with the surveillance footage showing no altercation are hard to reconcile. It makes you wonder about his state of mind and if there's more to the story than drugs and a tragic mistake. Has anyone else looked into the reliability of witness testimonies in similar cases? I think understanding how these contradictions play out in court could give us some insight into how this might unfold. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
