I can't stop thinking about how tightly knit Dewey and Lillie were with their local community. Friends and neighbors often spoke about the genuine kindness they extended to everyone around them. It's hard to comprehend how such a sudden and tragic end could come to a couple who seemed to embody so much love and positivity. I've heard a few people suggest the possibility of an attempted robbery gone wrong, but the police have been tight-lipped about any leads they might have. It must be so incredibly difficult for their family to process this loss, not only because of their absence but because of the violent nature of their passing. It's as though a gentle light has been snuffed out, leaving everyone in a state of disbelief. If anyone has clues or insights, now is the time to come forward and help bring some peace to those who loved them.
