Has anyone come across any updates or new theories about that park Eric visited with his friends on the day he went missing? I find it odd there's so little detail about what happened there. Were there any reported sightings or unusual activities noted in the park around that time? It's been so many years, and yet it seems like there's a gap in the timeline between when he was last seen with his friends and when people realized he was missing. It makes me wonder if there could be more to learn about what was happening locally around that area back in August 1996. Anyone with more info, please share!

Did anyone else find it odd that Eric went missing with two friends nearby yet there's so little info about what happened that day?
