I can't stop thinking about the role that alcohol played in this senseless tragedy. It's so difficult to comprehend how a night of drinking can lead to such devastating consequences. It's infuriating to see another young life lost because of reckless decisions mixed with alcohol. My heart goes out to Alexa's family and friends who are left to piece together their shattered world. No parent should ever have to bury their child, especially due to something that was entirely preventable. I'm also thinking about the community, which must be in shock, trying to figure out how to heal from this. Does anyone know if there's been any push for stricter regulations on firearms and alcohol in Brewton as a result of this incident? It's just devastating that it often takes a tragedy like this for people to start taking these dangers seriously.
