Hey all,
I've been digging into the Salvador "Sam" Bonadona case and something's really been bugging me. Did anyone else notice how strange it is that his Ford Explorer was found just a couple of days after he was last seen, but in such an obscure location? From what I gathered, the car was found stuck in the mud on a dirt road near Brusly St. Martin, far enough off the path that it seemed odd for just a random stop or breakdown.
This area is not exactly a bustling spot, so what led him there in the first place? I wonder if his condition played a role and he may have become disoriented, or could there have been someone with him, someone who knew those back roads well enough to vanish without leaving any trace? It's baffling that despite intensive searches with all that tech, no further evidence was discovered.
Hope someone out there might have some insights or theories about this! The community here always has such diverse perspectives and maybe someone can help make sense of this perplexing piece of the puzzle.
Has anyone else noted how many times the car is emphasized in Sam Bonadona's case? It seems like all the attention is on where his 1991 Ford Explorer was found rather than what happened after he left it. It's baffling that search efforts, with the use of boats and helicopters, turned up nothing. I've always found it strange how he was found so far from a main road—why was he out there in the first place? Given that he was known for staying in contact with family, does anyone think it's possible he got disoriented due to his schizophrenia and ended up somewhere off the beaten path unintentionally? It just feels like there's something crucial that's missing here. Also, with his car stuck, wouldn't it make sense that he'd try to find help nearby, but then where did he go? It's like he vanished into thin air. Anyone from the area know if there were any other peculiar cases or strange incidents around that time?
Has anyone else been curious about the state of Sam Bonadona’s 1991 Ford Explorer when it was found? I know it was abandoned and stuck in the mud near Brusly St. Martin, but I've been wondering about the specifics of that situation. Was there any sign of struggle or items left behind that might give a clue about what happened to him? It's puzzling to me that the vehicle was found so soon after he disappeared, yet no solid leads followed. Also, considering he was known to keep in touch with his family, it just seems odd that his vehicle was off a dirt road instead of a more traveled area. If anyone has any insight or theories on this aspect of the case, I'd be really interested to hear what others think. It's frustrating that after all these years, there are still no answers.
