I’ve been closely following the tragic case of Tatiana Pettus, and something keeps pulling at my heartstrings—the impact this must be having on her little girl. I can’t stop thinking about this one-year-old who now has to grow up without her mother. It's devastating. Just imagining the long-term emotional void in her life is overwhelming. By all accounts, Tatiana was planning a bright future for her and her daughter—looking forward to family reunions and working hard on the night shift to provide for her. It’s moments like these where I wish there was more awareness and preventive measures for domestic situations. Why do such tragedies have to strike before action is taken? My thoughts are with her family and that little girl, hoping she finds the love and support she’ll need in this difficult journey ahead.
