I've been following the story of Deanna and Bruce Hudson, and one thing that really stands out to me is how their neighbor played such a crucial role in alerting authorities. It's situations like these where you start to appreciate the importance of being in tune with your surroundings and caring about the people living around you. The neighbor probably had no idea what they would find or that they'd be the one carrying the weight of discovering such a tragedy. I hope they have the support they need, considering the trauma that can result from being thrust into such a situation. It’s a reminder to all of us about the value of community vigilance and checking in on one another, especially as so many people suffer in silence behind closed doors. Sending love to everyone who knew and cared about the Hudsons and their neighbor as this must be incredibly tough to process.
