I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on Kelly's close circle of friends. I mean, can you imagine losing someone you care about so suddenly and violently? It’s like one minute she was there, and then, the next, she was gone under such terrible circumstances. I read somewhere that Kelly was the heart of her friend group, always organizing gatherings and checking in on everyone. For people like that, their absence leaves a huge void that is so hard to fill. I hope her friends are finding support in one another and taking the time to grieve the loss of someone who brought so much light into their lives. It's so important to remember that even in such tragic stories, there are those left behind who need our empathy and support.
