I was reading about Kevin Calderón Rodas's case again, and my heart goes out to his family and the Charlotte community. It's devastating to think of how a joyful day could turn into such tragedy. I keep thinking about how vibrant and full of life Kevin must have been, surrounded by friends, just having fun at a birthday party. What really sticks with me is the thought of his mom and how she describes him as her "reason to live." I can't even begin to imagine the depth of that loss. The strength it must take to stand in the wake of such a senseless act of violence is unimaginable. I'm curious if anyone has heard about any new leads or updates in the case recently? It's been so long, and it's truly frustrating knowing that his killer is still out there. Hopefully, with continued community support and awareness, we can help bring some semblance of justice for Kevin and his family.
