I just can't stop thinking about the poor dog in all of this. I mean, amidst all the chaos and tragedy, that poor animal had no idea what was happening. It breaks my heart to think of Jose and Jazmine, but also the homeowner—coming back to such devastating news about her beloved pet. Many of us know how deeply bonded we can get with our animals, and losing a pet in such a violent way must be incredibly hard on top of everything else she has to process right now. It’s like a piece of the family was shattered here. Sending strength to the homeowner as well as the families of Jose and Jazmine during this awful time.
