I came across a detail in Raiford Matthews Jr.'s case that's been on my mind. I've read that there were several security cameras in the area around University Market, and I'm curious if they've been pivotal in the investigation. With the case taking place in 2015, I'm hoping the police managed to pull footage that could lead to identifying any potential suspects. Even after all these years, it must be excruciatingly difficult for Raiford’s family to not have closure. I hope the community continues to support them and that one day justice is served. Has anyone else heard updates about whether surveillance footage played any role here? It's frustrating to think such a resource might have been available, yet we're still waiting for answers.
Has anyone else been following the Raiford Matthews Jr. case? I can't get over how senseless this tragedy is. I've been thinking a lot about the location where it happened, University Market. It's a place so many of us stop by for everyday errands, and yet now it's tied to something so awful. Seeing familiar places become scenes of such violence really hits home. What concerns me even more is the lack of immediate arrests. I can only imagine the frustration and pain his family and friends must be feeling, knowing the person responsible hasn't been brought to justice. Sending love and strength to Raiford's loved ones. They deserve answers and closure.
