It's distressing to think about how these violent events can happen even in the early morning hours when most assume they’re safe. Jermaine's routine was probably something he and his dog enjoyed, a peaceful start to the day. The location at Leona Drive and Old Quarry Loop is an area where you wouldn't expect something like this to happen, it makes me wonder if someone familiar with his routine took advantage of this knowledge. It's just so devastating for his family and those who knew him, to lose someone in such a sudden and violent way. I hope the community steps up and provides any information that might help bring the perpetrators to justice. It's clear that Jermaine meant a lot to many people, and his loss leaves a significant void.
