Hey everyone, I've been trying to wrap my head around the impact that losing young Kadin, or "KB" as his friends called him, must have on his classmates at Fox Elementary. It's just unimaginable for kids to have to process something so tragic at such a young age. I remember reading how the school organized counseling sessions and even set up a memorial corner in the classroom for students to express their grief and share memories. Do you think these types of support systems are effective in helping young kids navigate through such a complex mix of emotions? It’s vital that the school continues to oversee these efforts so that the kids don’t feel left alone with their sadness. Sending all my thoughts to Kadin’s family, friends, and the entire school as they cope with this loss. If anyone has experience or suggestions on how to support kids through such difficult times, please share.
