I'm absolutely devastated to hear about what happened at what was supposed to be a joyous celebration for friends and family. My heart goes out to Lamonte Keys and his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. I keep thinking about those poor kids who were at the park, probably just playing and having fun one moment, and then suddenly surrounded by chaos and violence. What kind of impact will this have on them, witnessing something so tragic and senseless? It’s such a traumatic event that no child should ever have to experience. Also, I can’t help but feel for the lady who crashed her car while desperately trying to drive to safety. The level of panic and fear everyone must have felt is unimaginable. But the fact that a man and an infant were in that submerged vehicle and managed to escape unscathed is one silver lining in all of this madness. Such an unfortunate situation all around. It makes me wonder how a heated argument could escalate so quickly into something so deadly. This is just another example of why it’s crucial for us to find better ways to resolve conflicts. Looking forward to hearing what others think. How can we as a community prevent situations like this from happening?
