Anyone else think it's extremely odd how Kerry Girard wasn't reported missing until over a year after she vanished? I mean, she had a close relationship with her family and was known for keeping in touch during important occasions. Given her history, you'd think her family would notice quickly if she suddenly stopped reaching out. What's baffling to me is the fact that the boyfriend died only a few years later, leaving so many questions unanswered. It just makes you wonder if that delay in reporting her missing impacted the investigation and if crucial evidence was lost during that time. Such a frustrating case with so many loose ends! Does anyone know if this delay has happened in similar cases? I'm curious how common this is and what impact it usually has on finding the missing person.
