Kerry Girard, 36 years old, was last seen on May 5, 1997, after bonding out of county jail in Gering, Nebraska, where she was being held for a forgery conviction. At the time, she was living with her boyfriend in Scottsbluff. Although she was last seen in May 1997, she was not reported missing until over a year later, on June 30, 1998.
