Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Daniel Acy’s case and can’t help but focus on Steven Thomas Hodge’s past. I read somewhere that people’s histories can sometimes give insight into their actions, and Hodge’s rap sheet is extensive. It makes me wonder if his history of violent crimes, like second-degree kidnapping and assault by strangulation, set the stage for what happened that tragic day. I feel for Daniel’s family and the community that’s grappling with this loss. It’s unsettling to think that someone with such a record was in a position to cause further harm. It also raises questions about how society monitors individuals with a history like Hodge's. What could’ve been done differently, if anything, to prevent this from escalating to murder? I hope as the investigation progresses, we'll find out whether any underlying factors played a part in this situation. My thoughts are with Daniel's loved ones, and I’m hoping justice will bring them some peace.
