Have you all heard about the shooting that happened on Annette Street that took William Hawkins Jr.'s life? I can't shake the thought of how vulnerable we all are, even in broad daylight. It’s haunting to imagine a seemingly ordinary day turning into such a nightmare. They said the shooting spilled over to Airline Highway, and the car ended up at a Chevron station. How terrifying for those involved and the bystanders who witnessed it. It’s unsettling how little we know about the motive or who did this. For his family and friends, the lack of answers must be a living agony. It’s moments like this that highlight how gun violence can ripple through a community, leaving scars well beyond those immediately affected. I'm hoping the investigators can piece this puzzle together soon for the sake of everyone involved. If anyone has more information or insight, it might help to bring some clarity for William's loved ones, so please keep talking about this and sharing anything that might be useful.
