Has anyone else been following the details about the party at Center Street Park? I keep thinking about how much promise Pepe had and the dreams he was working towards. It's just so difficult to grasp how quickly life can be turned upside down. I also find it deeply unsettling that it all happened during his son's birthday celebration. I can't even imagine the confusion and trauma for his little one, growing up without their dad who was just trying to celebrate a special day for them. It raises so many questions about safety and how people we consider friends might harbor unthinkable actions. Sending so much love and strength to Pepe's family as they search for answers and try to heal from such a senseless act.
