Hey everyone, I came across Dennis Ray Addlesberger's case recently, and something that's been on my mind is the geographical aspect of his disappearance. Council Bluffs is right by the Missouri River and so close to Nebraska, which makes me wonder if maybe he crossed state lines. This could have complicated the investigation, especially back in 1999 when jurisdictional cooperation might not have been as streamlined as today. I'm curious if anyone knows whether the Nebraska authorities ever got involved or if there were any searches conducted across state lines. It's strange to think how easily someone can disappear without a trace, especially in an area where two states meet. If anybody has heard anything about regional searches or any details like that, I'd be interested to know more. Let's keep this conversation going and see if we can piece anything else together.
