I’ve been thinking about how hard this must be for Cesar’s wife, Luz, especially as time passes and there are still no answers. Living in the same area, I often pass by Willowdale Apartments and it's chilling to think about what happened there. I can’t imagine the constant heartache and unanswered questions she must face every day. It’s easy for some to look away when time goes by, but this is her reality. I hope that memories of the night come flooding back to someone, whether it’s a witness or another resident who remembers something small that could be key. Everyone in Durham should keep this case in mind and help bring justice for Cesar and peace for Luz. If anything comes to mind, even if it seems insignificant, it might be worth sharing with the authorities.
