It's puzzling how Michelle Crawford's car was found. I mean, the way it was parked—crookedly between that hotel and apartment complex—makes me think something interrupted her. If she was just going to the movies, why leave it in such a hurry? Seems odd that her belongings were still inside with the door unlocked. Like maybe she trusted whoever she met there or got surprised by someone she knew? It’s hard not to wonder if there’s something about that parking lot or the surrounding area that holds a clue. I hope the police looked into who frequents that spot. Has anyone heard if there were security cameras nearby back in '99? It might seem like ages ago tech-wise, but sometimes businesses had them for insurance purposes. Any thoughts?
Has anyone else looked into the make and model of the car Michelle drove? The 1986 Honda Accord isn't exactly a large vehicle, but I'm curious if there's any significance to its location between the hotel and apartment complex where it was found. Was it a popular spot for people to leave their cars for some reason? Maybe someone who lived or worked nearby recalls seeing something that night? It's odd that her belongings were still in the car with the door unlocked, suggesting maybe she exited in a hurry or was planning to come back quickly. Also, I wonder if law enforcement checked surveillance cameras from nearby businesses or the hotel— if they even existed back then— for any leads. Seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle might have been missed since there’s no mention of any footage in the reports.
