I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragedy of the Chavez family. It's hard to imagine the pain that their mother must be going through, especially knowing she survived the attack. I keep thinking about how this unfolded in the middle of what should have been a joyful family event. The fact that other family members were there makes it even more horrific. I can't help but wonder if anyone saw any warning signs leading up to this or if Gabriel was struggling with something that went unnoticed. The community response, with the memorials for Joseph and Greysen, shows how much these boys were loved. They deserved so much more, and my heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless act. If anyone has more details or insights from the neighborhood, please share. I'm hoping we can all learn from this somehow, to prevent such unimaginable pain in the future.
