I've been thinking a lot about Jerod Long's case lately, especially considering how often gun violence seems to impact families who are already hurting. This has to be incredibly overwhelming for his loved ones, dealing with the loss of someone with such a vibrant and generous spirit. It's horrifying to think that such a caring individual could be taken away so abruptly. Does anyone else find it deeply frustrating to see another case where a life known for helping others ends in such violence? I sincerely hope the community in Durham can come together to address these violent acts before more families have to grieve like Jerod's. Sending strength and love to everyone who knew him.
