Hi everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Crispin Lopez, and it’s truly upsetting how little information has come out even after all these years. One thing that really stands out to me is how this wasn't just an isolated incident, but part of a larger issue in Durham at the time. The city was dealing with a lot of violent crime, and I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for the community and families living there. What makes this even harder to fathom is the lack of leads or suspects. It’s extremely frustrating for the victim’s family to have no closure, which is so important for healing. The fact that multiple cases remained unresolved that year is a sad reflection of the challenges law enforcement faced. I hope that over time, more people come forward with information. It feels like every little piece of info could potentially make a huge difference for Crispin's family and others who are enduring such loss. If you're from the area or remember anything from that time, I’d really recommend reaching out to the police. It may seem like a small gesture, but it could be that missing piece of the puzzle. Let’s hope there’s a way forward for all these unsolved cases too. Sending strength to Crispin’s loved ones. Stay safe, everyone.
