Has anyone been following the Cornell Bridges case from back in 2017? I've been digging around community reports, and it's genuinely disturbing how gun violence has gripped certain areas of Charlotte over the years. From what I gathered, the shooting happened in broad daylight around 7 p.m., which seems crazy to me. Can you imagine just going about your evening and suddenly hearing gunshots? Tragically, Cornell was found dead in a car that had hit a power pole. Hearing that no suspects have been identified yet must be particularly frustrating for his family and friends. It's hard to believe that there were no concrete leads even with witnesses around. Was anyone from the area when this incident happened? I'm curious about what the local vibe was like right after the shooting. With 41 homicides already that year, I wonder if there was a sense of urgency or helplessness within the community. Here's hoping someone out there holds a vital piece of the puzzle to bring justice for Cornell. Sending thoughts to his loved ones who are still waiting for answers.
