Has anyone else been deeply struck by the role mental health might have played in this tragedy? It’s so unsettling to think about how things might have been different if timely help had been available. It's painful to imagine the family's turmoil leading up to that fateful day. With Jaden as the suspected gunman, it makes me wonder if there were signs that were missed or if the family reached out for help that just didn’t come in time. As a parent, I think about Cherika and how much she might have been trying to hold everything together, especially after reading that she was an active part of the community. The thought that her youngest son now has to face this reality is devastating. I hope this shines a brighter light on addressing mental health issues urgently, before they spiral to such tragic ends. My heart goes out to everyone impacted by this terrible incident, especially the surviving young boy who now has to navigate such a profound loss.
