I've been closely following the tragic case of Deven Antonucci and wanted to share some thoughts about the role of community support in times like this. It's been overwhelming to see the way the Amarillo community has come together in the wake of this unspeakable loss. Vigils, fundraisers, and heartfelt tributes have been pouring in, showing just how deeply Deven and Ezekiel were loved and how profoundly their absence is felt. I think it's important to remember the strength and resilience that tight-knit communities like this often display in the aftermath of tragedy. As we await further developments in this investigation, my mind keeps going back to those directly impacted—family, friends, teachers, and classmates—who are navigating their grief while hoping for justice. It’s truly inspiring to see how they’re leaning on one another for strength and refusing to let violence define their memories of Deven and Ezekiel. Let's keep them in our thoughts as the community strives to heal and as the legal process unfolds.
