I wonder if there were any interventions or mediations attempted in the years that this conflict simmered. It's truly devastating to think that an unresolved feud could escalate to such a tragic end, and my heart aches for Curtis Lamar White's family and friends, who must be enduring unimaginable pain. I'm also curious about the role the community might have played in either diffusing or inadvertently fueling this animosity. Small towns often have close-knit communities where everyone knows each other. Might there have been a missed opportunity for someone to step in and help before things got to this point?
