For anyone who was as close to the area as those neighbors, I cannot imagine how terrifying it must have been to hear something that so closely resembled war-like sounds. The fact that people initially mistook the gunfire for fireworks paints a vivid picture of how unexpected and shocking the incident was. My heart goes out to Brittany's family, especially her daughter, who now carries the memory of this brutal night with her. I really hope the IMPD gets closer to finding answers with that footage of the white car. Every little piece of information might be crucial in piecing together what happened that night.
