Hey everyone, I've been following Elias Martinez's case for a while, and something that's been sitting in the back of my mind is why there haven't been any significant updates despite the use of national databases like NamUs. It's baffling to me how someone can just vanish without leaving a trace, especially with modern technology playing such a huge role in solving cases these days. Was there ever a thorough examination of his digital footprint or maybe a deeper dive into telephone records? It feels like these could be avenues worth revisiting, even if they're long shots. If anyone knows more about what investigative steps were taken back then, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Hoping for a breakthrough in this case someday.
