I've been following the tragic case of DyQual Harris, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they're going through right now. What struck me is the role that surveillance footage played in this investigation. It's alarming yet somewhat reassuring to see how these technologies are being utilized to solve crimes. It seems that without the park and school district cameras, this case might have hit a dead end. It makes me wonder about the balance between privacy and security; in situations like this, it's clear how vital those resources are for justice. It's so important for communities to support these efforts, but it's also a tough conversation around how much surveillance is too much. What do you all think? Are we sacrificing too much privacy, or is it worth it if it helps prevent tragedies like this in the future?
