I’ve been following the tragic case of Kim Rowland's death, and I keep thinking about the impact on his circle of friends who were with him that night. It must be incredibly traumatic for them to have witnessed such a violent event, especially in a place where they probably went to relax and have fun. I can’t imagine how difficult it is to process losing a friend in such a horrific way. It's important to remember that the effects of violence extend beyond immediate victims, touching all those connected to them. I hope the support systems available help them navigate through this trying time. If anyone reading this was close to Kim or at the scene, please take care of yourselves and lean on each other. Justice for Kim cannot come soon enough, and my thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
