Hey everyone, It's so sad to hear about the Saginaw shooting involving Deon L. Wiley III. One thing that really stands out to me is the timing of it all. Just days before graduation? It's such a pivotal moment in a young person's life, symbolizing so much hope and promise for the future. To have it all end in such violence is hard to wrap my head around. I read that the police were already out in force that night because parking lot parties had become a growing concern. It makes me wonder how these gatherings are policed or managed to keep kids safe without escalating situations further. I hope this tragic event sparks some serious conversations about safety measures at events like prom. I can't even imagine the grief that Deon's family and friends are experiencing. Hopefully, anyone who knows anything comes forward soon so that some semblance of justice can be brought to his memory, and maybe the community can find some peace. Does anyone here know if there have been any updates on the investigation? Thoughts and prayers with everyone involved.
