I can't stop thinking about the night this all happened. I drive by that Exxon quite a bit and can't imagine the fear those nearby must have felt hearing the gunshots and seeing the chaos that followed. It's deeply unsettling to lose someone from the community in such a violent way. I can't help but wonder about the circumstances that led to this. Were they strangers, or was there some underlying tension between Timothy and Roderick? And what sparked this to escalate so disastrously? My heart truly goes out to Timothy's family and friends who have to navigate life without him now. Setting aside time for the visitation or funeral could be a way to offer support, even if I didn't know him personally. It’s also critical for the community to rally around keeping our streets safer, hoping that we won't see another life stolen from us like this. The whole situation is just so heavy on the heart, and I pray for peace and justice.
