Wow, it's so hard to process how something like this can happen in what seems like such a peaceful neighborhood. I've been thinking about the restored gun rights aspect of this case and it's really troubling. Given James Main's past conviction for aggravated assault, it makes me wonder how thorough the evaluation was before his gun rights were reinstated. I know the laws vary by state, but shouldn't there be more stringent checks in place when it comes to granting firearms access to someone with a violent past? Thinking about Jane and how unaware she might have been of the potential danger in her own home is just devastating. It’s a stark reminder of the importance of understanding the background of those closest to us. Sending thoughts of peace and strength to her family and friends who are dealing with such a senseless tragedy. How can we move forward to ensure this doesn’t happen again?
