Has anyone else been following the case about the tragic events at the family party in Crete? My heart really goes out to David Velazquez’s loved ones and everyone involved in that horrifying night. Something I’ve been pondering about is the neighborhood itself. I read that some neighbors were startled awake by gunshots, and I can't imagine how distressing that must have been. It's such a peaceful area normally, and having something like this happen right on their doorstep must have been truly terrifying. It’s so scary how quickly a calm night can turn into chaos. The fact that a neighbor heard more shots even after a pause is chilling—does it suggest someone was specifically targeted? Or was the shooter just panicking? I hope the authorities can piece things together soon and bring some answers to everyone involved.
