Has anyone else been following the case of Deven Mays? One thing that's been nagging at me is the choice to conduct a transaction in a car with his family present. It just seems so risky, especially with his wife and young child involved. I can only imagine the kind of stress and desperation he might have felt that made him think it was worth the risk. Having his family there must have added a layer of false security, which makes it all the more tragic. My heart goes out to Brianna and their child, having to witness such a traumatic event and now live without him. It's a grim reminder of how quickly life can take a devastating turn. I hope this serves as a lesson for others about the dangers of these kinds of interactions and that justice is served for Deven and his family.
