Has anyone else been following James Hollister's case? It's really tragic to see another young life lost in East Oakland. I can only imagine the heartache that his family must be going through, especially when it seems like the chances of justice being served are so slim. I've read that many of these cases go unsolved because people are scared to come forward or distrustful of law enforcement. It's just devastating. I'm really curious about what's being done to improve the relationship between the community and the police. Are there any new initiatives or programs that aim to build trust and encourage people to share what they know? It seems like without community cooperation, it's all the more difficult to bring those responsible for these heinous acts to justice. My thoughts are with James’s family and everyone else who’s been affected by this endless cycle of violence.
