I can't stop thinking about the incident at Donnelly Homes. It's so incredibly sad that someone like Deezy - a talented lyricist and, above all, a devoted father - was caught up in this. I didn’t know him personally, but I’ve read that he was really making a difference in his community, bringing people together and spreading positivity. It’s just heart-wrenching to see yet another promising life taken by gun violence. What stands out to me is the role that environment might play in tragedies like this. Donnelly Homes isn’t a place where the victims even lived, which raises so many questions about why they were there and how this escalated to gunfire. I'm hoping for some answers soon, not just for closure for the family but to prevent future incidents. Those who loved Devante deserve justice and peace. If anyone has insight or updates, it would be great to share here. Hopefully, justice will be served, and Devante’s little girl will know how loved and appreciated her dad was by so many.
