The fact that the video was discovered despite efforts to hide it is also concerning—particularly that Latasha Hicks, their mother, allegedly denied its existence. I can't imagine the pain Gabriel’s family must be enduring, knowing there was an attempt to conceal crucial evidence. It's a reminder of how vital surveillance is in piecing together the truth and how quickly narratives can be fabricated.
