This case just keeps haunting me, and I can’t stop thinking about what Qualeisha Barnes’ last thoughts might have been while sitting in her car that night. The details just make me so angry and sad. I’ve been following her story, and it's just devastating not just because of her life, but the life her unborn child will never have. I keep thinking about how she must have been feeling the night before her flight to Detroit, looking forward to seeing her sister and maybe getting a bit of relief from morning sickness with family taking care of her. The timing of it all feels especially cruel. Has anyone heard anything new from the neighborhood canvass? So much can come out of checking surveillance footage from nearby homes or businesses, and that's got to be among the first places to look. If anyone reading this is from the area and knows local business owners or residents, might be worth asking them to check their cameras again. Someone HAD to see or hear something. Every little bit of information helps, and I sincerely hope the community rallies to piece this together. Her family deserves answers, and Qualeisha deserves justice. ?
